Refresher Training for Program Evaluators

Refresher Training covers important changes and updates, most notably the new General Criteria harmonized across all four commissions. This training is designed to ensure consistency in the review process by providing all program evaluators exposure to the latest updates.

Who Takes Refresher Training?

Refresher Training is required every five years, provided there is no lapse in service. If a program evaluator does not complete an on-site review for two consecutive years or has not been trained by either ABET or by his or her member society in the last two years, then Refresher Training is required before assignment to a Review Team can be made.

Schedule for Refresher Training

Refresher Training is always available online.
